Opportunities to Serve
One of the most important goals of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church is showing God's love to our local communities!
Franklin county Backpack Program
The Franklin County Backpack Program provides bags of food for elementary kids to take home on the weekends during the school year!
Holy Trinity Childcare & Learning Center
We have offered a daycare/pre-school to our local community for over 30 years!
American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreter
During the first Sunday morning worship service of each month, an ASL interpreter is provided for our deaf community members.
The Stocking Project
This is a Christmas mission of our children’s church program that began in 2018. In our first year, we provided 178 stuffed stockings to kids in the St. Clair area! A collection box is posted in the church, and throughout the year, church members are asked to donate the item of the month – plush animals, small toys, crafts, and more. In November, we host a packing event where we stuff the stockings full of treats and they are distributed in early December.
Quarterly Mission collections
Each quarter, the church chooses a recipient (like the Saint Clair Agape House) for a special mission collection. During the quarter, on the last Sunday of the month, a collection box is posted in the sanctuary. All collected funds are turned over to the organization at the end of the quarter.
Special Collections
In the narthex/lobby of the church, there are bins to collect small items like eyeglasses, soda tabs, and old ink cartridges. These items are turned over to various charitable organizations that will use them for a good cause.
